Mr Stea holds dual degrees in Medicine and Surgery and in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, both awarded by the University of Bologna. He completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Parma, and subsequently obtained a postgraduate Master’s degree in the Surgical Management of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and the EBOMFS Diploma (European Board of Oro-Maxillo-Facial Surgery).
Throughout his career, Mr Stea has undertaken advanced training at leading international centres in Switzerland, Sweden, Scotland, the Netherlands and the United States, consolidating his clinical and surgical expertise across the specialty.

Filippo Stea
Great-grandfather, born 1848
Physician and surgeon, born in Montrone di Bari (now Adelfia).
A figure of post-unification Italy, Filippo Stea practised medicine in an era marked by difficult public health conditions, scarce resources and widespread epidemics. Following his medical training, he relocated to the Salento region, settling in Casarano, where he worked for many years as a community physician.
He practised at a time when the local doctor was often the sole healthcare resource for entire communities. His clinical work was characterised by a constant presence on the ground and particular attention to the most vulnerable patients. Alongside his practice, Filippo Stea also cultivated a reflective dimension to his profession, authoring writings on the role of the physician, a testament to a deeply humanistic vision of care.
Attilio Stea
Grandfather, born 1897
Dentist, born in Casarano and practicing in Macerata.
With Attilio Stea, the family story enters the twentieth century and takes on a strong institutional dimension. At a time when dentistry was still closely integrated with medicine, Attilio Stea was a central figure in the professional life of the Marche region.
He served for many years as President of the Medical and Dental Association of Macerata, guiding the institution through decades of transformation in healthcare and the medical professions. The exceptional length of his institutional commitment reflects the trust of his colleagues and his ability to represent the profession with authority, balance and foresight.
Guido Stea

Oral and maxillofacial surgeon, born in Civitanova Marche.
With Guido Stea, the family tradition turned towards specialised hospital surgery. Trained in the post-war period, he built his career within the Bologna school of surgery, becoming one of the defining figures of Italian maxillofacial surgery in the hospital setting.
